HIAB Training Lorry Loader & Slinger Signaller Course

The ALLMI Operator course consists of 15 modules and is a minimum of one or two days duration. This depends on whether candidates are first time operators or experienced Lorry loader operators.

Both lorry loader and slinger signaller training courses are concluded by the completion of a written examination and a practical assessment. The practical assessment is conducted to ALLMI standards and invigilated by our registered HIAB training instructor.

HIAB LORRY LOADER TRAINING. What’s Involved in the course?

The testing process (if taken) consists of two theory tests and one practical assessment. The practical element is designed to identify whether the candidate has the ability to operate a lorry loader safely and efficiently.

All candidates attending a lorry loader course receive an Operators Handbook as a reference guide for future use.

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a temporary certificate from our instructor.

An identity card and certificate will be issued directly from ALLMI and each candidate will be entered onto the ALLMI Lorry Loader Operator database. Certification is valid for five years, after which time, refresher training and re-assessment will be required.
