Category C1 License Training (7½ tonne)


Category C1 (7½ tonne) Training In Pontefract, Yorkshire

In order to obtain an LGV Cat C1 driving licence, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a full car driving licence.

The next stage is to obtain a provisional LGV licence. To do this, an medical will be needed and the completed forms sent to the DVLA. See our Starter Package Page click here for further details.

Your theory tests can also be booked. Everyone will need a Multi Choice theory test and a Hazard Perception test. You may also need a CPC Case study. See our CPC page for more details.

After successfully completing the theory test, you can book your driving course. This is normally completed over 4 days with reverse test on day 3 or 4 and practical test on day 4. The training for your C1 licence will then be tailored to suit your own needs. Category C1 Licence training can be undertaken in our IVECO van, pictured above.

Your practical driving test will be conducted by a DVSA examiner at our own Testing Centre. The reverse test will be conducted by one of our own MOD 3a assessors.
