ADR Training - Carrying Hazardous Goods
To drive a vehicle carrying dangerous goods, you’ll need to hold an ADR Training Certificate. To obtain one, you’ll need to attend the ADR course and pass the relevant exams.
Here at L&T we offer monthly ADR courses. The length of the course depends on the elements you want to do. The most common course to obtain your adr licence covers vehicles carrying dangerous goods in packages and covers the classes listed below. This course would last 4 days with exams on the morning of the 4th day. If you wanted to add the entitlement to carry dangerous goods in tankers, the course would continue for a further day.
The ADR training exams are completed online. This means you get your results after completing all of your exams, so no nervous 3 week wait for results and your ADR certificate.
The ADR Training Course has 3 main objectives:
- To give you some information on the dangers you may be faced with the carriage of dangerous goods.
- To give you information on minimizing the likelihood of an incident taking place when transporting dangerous goods.
- The steps to take if something does go wrong to keep you, the public and the environment as safe as possible.
All our ADR training is delivered in a relaxed and friendly style by our own trainer, Malc Lloyd. You will receive a pack containing all required information and regular revision quizzes. Our ADR courses equip drivers with the knowledge to ensure they are properly prepared for the multiple-choice exams at the end of the course and to stay safe and legal when working with hazardous goods.
