Course Overview

• This Level 3 Award In First Aid At Work (QCF) – Initial is ideal for anyone who intends to act as a workplace First Aider.
• Equips you with the vital skills necessary to diagnose and treat injuries or illness, with an emphasis on dealing with life threatening situations until professional help arrives.
• Your employer can book this course and rest assured that they are providing quality first aid training without having to undertake any ongoing due diligence checks

Assessment and Requalification

• Continuous assessment throughout the duration of this course and when successful you will receive a Level 3 First Aid at Work certificate. This is valid for three years and can then be renewed by attending a 2 day Level 3 First Aid at Work Requalification course.

Refresher Training

HSE guidelines state that employers “should ensure” that all qualified first aiders “remain competent to perform their role”. In order for employers to meet this requirement, it is recommended that as a first aider you attend annual refresher training.
