L&T Transport Training Services are proud to offer First Aid Training in association with First On Scene.
From 1st October 2009 there will be two levels of first aider recognised by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), these are First Aider At Work and Emergency First Aider At Work.
This is the HSE approved course for people who are required to act as an Emergency First Aider at Work. The course has been designed to equip the Emergency First Aider with the skills necessary to take charge and deal with an emergency effectively. The emphasis is placed on preventing situations from becoming worse and maintaining life until help arrives.
Many private individuals also book on to this course as it is an excellent basic first aid course for the general public.
The course includes:
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
The respiratory system
Choking and care of the airway
Care of the unconscious patient
The circulatory System
Communication & delegation in an emergency
Control of bleeding
Shock
Treatment of minor injurys
ALSO. L&T HAVE REGISTERED THIS COURSE WITH THE JAUPT AS A 1 DAY PERIODIC TRAINING COURSE. THIS COURSE CAN COUNT AS 1 DAY (7 HOURS) TOWARDS YOUR DRIVER CPC PERIODIC TRAINING REQUIREMENT.
