Category C+E (Artic) Training
To obtain a Category C+E licence (Class 1), you must already hold a Category C (Class 2) Licence.
You won’t need to take a theory test.
You will automatically get a provisional licence to drive Class 1 so you should be good to go.
First stage is normally a driving assessment. After this we can arrange your driving course.
The vehicles we use for upgrading to Class 1 are Mercedes-Benz Axor, packed full with features designed to make driving as simple and safe as possible.
Private reversing area
A common fear for candidates when upgrading to a Class 1 licence relates to reversing. However, as you can learn on our own private reversing and testing area you can spend as much time as you need perfecting the art.
Your test will take place at our own test centre. Since 2012 we have been a Customer Site for Lorry & Bus tests. This means that the examiner comes to our training centre to start your driving tests, so you’ll be in familiar surroundings and take your test on the same area that you practise!
The L&T Transport ‘Wall of Success’
When you pass your test, we’ll take your photo and add you to our ever expanding ‘Wall’. You’ll also get one of our much sought after ‘goodie bags’.
